Are You Ready for a challenge?

Mrs. Cox’s  class seems to think they can beat us out of our trophy. It is time we prove them wrong. I challenge you to read at least 3 books a night to your child. Our goal is to have read 1,000  books by the end of the nine weeks. ARE YOU READY TO WIN OUR TROPHY BACK. WE ARE!!! SO GET READING.  Thanks for all your help parents. My class really loves  the competition.

WE ARE #1

Thank you parents and students for making us the top readers out of all kindergarten classes. We have a trophy in our room for  reading the most books. We read 464 books!!  I am so proud of my students. We could not have made it without our parents help. My goal is for you to read at least three books a night with your child. LETS KEEP OUR TROPHY!!  KEEP READING !!! We also need to congratulate Ryan Logan for being the top reader of 64 books. Way to Go Ryan!  I will have pictures soon.

Fall Festival

Hey guys,

I just wanted to remind everyone that our class has a fishing basket for the auction. Please send in your items as soon as you can.  Also, keep working with your children on letter naming and initail sounds. I can see a big difference in them. Thanks for all you do.  WE ARE THE BEST!!!!

David M. Sargent Jr.

David M. Sargent Jr.On Tuesday August 28th, Mr. Sargent visited our class to share his books with us. He talked to us about his life with his special friends. He also shared with us how he became a writer and that we should write about our everyday life. I was real excited when he asked if I would like to hold the first performer “Tatum”.  She was so sweet and the kids enjoyed her.
